Who Are Friends That Run?

Coach Mark Riggs

As a passionate and experienced running coach based in Pensacola, FL, I started coaching by leading group classes and later developed training programs to help runners learn to run and achieve their personal best. Having completed numerous races ranging from 5Ks to ultramarathons, my clients include beginners, marathoners, ultramarathoners, military/first responders, and those simply looking to become more fit with the support of accountability. I emphasize injury prevention, mental resilience, and fostering a lifelong love of running, guiding you every step of the way toward success. I am an RRCA certified running coach and a UESCA certified Ultrarunning coach.

When I'm not running, you can find me enjoying the beach with my wife, playing with our two hound dogs, Buster and Poppy, indulging in my love for music, cooking up new recipes, building Legos, eating snacks, exploring craft beers, and sipping coffee.

Coach Mitch Neal

Mitch Neal hails from Southwest Virginia in the lands of mountains, cold winters, and stellar sunrises! She moved to Pensacola in June of 2023 with her husband as he started flight school with the Navy.

Mitch’s background in running starts her sophomore year of high school when she tried out for the indoor track season. She could barely run a lap around the track without having to walk, but she was determined. She fell in love with the sport in high school. Mitch prides herself on the fact that running never came easy her, it still doesn’t. She doesn’t have the natural talent for the sport, but she has the heart for it; and that is what she loves to share with people. She’s now run distances from the 5k to the 50 mile distance. She’s passionate about helping people reach their goals and to show them they are capable of so much more than they could even dream!

You will see Mitch in our Double Bridge Run group training program as an assistant coach and on our social media!
